The goal of Denver Lightning is to expose athletes to the various possibilities in track and field while creating an environment establishing discipline, team cohesion, respect, safety and opportunity. Our coaches’ desire is to teach athletes an appreciation for track and field, while enhancing their self-confidence through consistent practice, guidance, and opportunity for competition. We want to develop social skills in an attempt to cooperate in a group setting and to grow in self-expression. Through these fundamentals, athletes will learn to set and obtain goals to reach their highest level of achievements.
